Principal's Corner

Griswold Elementary School is a Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 4 building with close to 700 students. We are proud to be part of such a wonderful school community and are so fortunate to have families that support our students and teachers with their time, generous donations, support, and other events that bring the entire GES community together.

GES is located on the same campus along with Griswold Middle School and Griswold High School. We have had an #AWESOME start to the new school year. Our students and teachers returned with smiles and an eagerness learn about new and exciting topics.

A growing body of research indicates that Social-Emotional programming enhances students’ connection to school, classroom climate, and academic achievement. Our consistent school wide approach at GES, grades Pre-K through 4, will have a positive impact for all of our students. All of us learn best when our environment feels safe and we feel valued, when buckets are full, our mental and emotional needs are being met. Personal and classroom buckets will be overflowing as we put - Care, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility on full display. Our “Bucket-Filling” theme will continue this school year, with that in place, we will continue to communicate the importance of being kind to one another.
