Shadow a Student

"A Day in the Life of a Griswold Wolverine"

Our shadowing program allows a prospective student from Griswold Middle School or one of our sending towns (Lisbon, Voluntown, Canterbury, Sprague, Preston, Franklin, or Norwich) to accompany a GHS student for a day.

Each December, future Wolverines or those still considering GHS for high school are invited to shadow during one of two days. This year's dates are December 8 and 9, 2022. Please fill out this form to sign up.

We’d love to welcome your 8th grader to GHS to shadow a member of our freshman class for a day. Your child will join students from the start of the day at 7:25 a.m. through dismissal at 2:19 p.m. During this time, they will attend four freshman-level classes, have lunch in our cafeteria, and take a tour of our specialized classrooms and labs including the new advanced technology Nexus Lab, our Photography Lab, the Nursing Lab, Food Lab, Music/Piano Lab, and Wood Shop.

We hope your 8th grader will join us for “A Day in the Life of a Griswold Wolverine!” We’re looking forward to meeting your future Wolverine!
