The Town Referendum for the proposed Griswold Community Multi-Purpose Turf field on February 1 passed! Thank you, voters. Griswold moves FORWARD.

Opening Ceremony and Field Dedication
Griswold Public Schools will host an opening ceremony and field dedication for the new Community Multi-Purpose Turf Field on Friday, September 8, 2023, at 6:15 p.m..
The complex is located behind Griswold High School at 267 Slater Avenue, Griswold, CT 06351.
The event is open to the public before the first home Griswold High School football game of the season; tickets to the ceremony and game are $5 per person (cash only).

- 6:30 p.m. Football Game vs. East Catholic High School
- Fireworks following game

Project Completion & Use Information
Our new Community Multi-Purpose Field is completed and available for use. Griswold Public Schools will closely adhere to the guidance provided and endorsed by the Eastern Connecticut Conference on Field Turf Usage. Visitors and other interested parties may access this document by clicking here. For individuals and groups interested in using the Community Multi-Purpose Field Complex, please contact the Griswold Board of Education, Facilities Use Department at 860-376-7636.
